Many of my legion of readers are probably aware of the Free Church of Scotland’s decision to allow instruments and hymns in their services. You can read two reactions (one who supported the decision, and one from an outsider OPC guy) about the decision.
Also, a recent decision to dismiss a minister caught in adultery has caused a mixed response. One wonders how much 1 Timothy and Titus appeared in the discussions and deliberations. From what little info is given, it seems the right decision was upheld, which is encouraging.
The other big news in Scotland is that it is thawing out this weekend after 2 weeks of being a big chuck of ice. Heat wave.
